We get to our destination and it starts really running rough the idle is going up and down and it blows black smoke and is just running terrible.
A friend has a 99 V10 155,000 miles, had a new engine on Ford at 55,000. Truck runs very smooth but will not idle when cold. Once it warms up it is fine, if you use the throttle you can keep it running when cold but it stalls if you let it go to idle.
